In the 1920s and 1930s, the Schneider Trophy drew nations, engineers, pilots, and crowds into a contest of speed, beauty, and technical nerve. Britain’s racing seaplanes became symbols of what disciplined audacity could achieve: cleaner lines, faster machines, braver ideas.
SMR Airspeeder Team GBR takes inspiration from that mythology.
Our name and identity honour Britain’s air-racing heritage, especially the Supermarine racers that helped define an era. We are a modern Airspeeder team, built for electric flight, close racing, and the next great leap in aviation performance.
